This program will offer professionally coached, structured workouts to help you become a better runner in 5 weeks. Each week will feature a different workout to teach you new things about running and pacing. ALL ability levels are welcome and encouraged.
The program will be held at the Wisconsin Athletic Club in Greenfield, so we can run regardless of weather conditions. We encourage anyone who takes this program to train for the Luck of the Irish Race(s) on Mar 17, 2019 for either their 5K or the 10K (or another event of your choice). The event participation is optional but highly encouraged.
If you plan to run the 10K you should be able to run/walk 25 minutes non stop at the start of this program. If you are aiming for the 5K, you can start from the Couch.
Along with the five weekly coached workouts you will receive:
- A FREE written running program designed by Coach Lauren. The plan will structure your runs outside of class, with your choice of the Beginner/Intermediate or Competitive training schedule.
- A tech shirt to wear for workouts as well as the day of the event.
- A race day discount if you register for the Luck of the Irish Run
- A discount when you combine this class with the Tri Faster HIIT Training class that meets Sundays from 3:00-3:45pm at the same location.
