Join us for the 10th Annual Tri Faster/WAC Indoor Triathlon!

This fun, all-abilities event takes place at the Wisconsin Athletic Club in Greenfield on February 15, 2026.  Athletes will start in waves of eight participants, using a timed format where no one gets left behind.  Waves will start and end each event together on a timed schedule which is as follows:

  • 10:00 swim
  • 10:00 transition
  • 20:00 bike
  • 5:00 transition
  • 15:00 run

In addition to a well-organized event, participants will receive a race branded LED headlamp flashlight and post-race refreshments. The WAC features a spectator-friendly venue along with showers, a hot tub, and towel service.

The Swim

The swim takes place in the all-shallow 4-lane pool.  There will be 2 participants in a lane, each getting their own side.  All participants in each wave will start at the same time and receive 10 minutes to swim as many lengths as possible.

Participants will then have 10 minutes to dry off and change to transition to the bike room.

The Bike

Each participant will be assigned a selection of spin bikes to choose from and will be allowed to make necessary adjustments before the swim starts. Waves will start at the same time 10 minutes after the swim has ended. Each participant will have 20 minutes to log as many miles as possible. Our amazing volunteers will be there to assist with bike adjustments as well as provide upbeat motivational music. The spin bikes at the WAC standard peddles with toe cages or SPD clips.

Each participant will have 5 minutes to transition from the bike room to the treadmills.

The Run

The run will take place on treadmills located across the gym from the bike room. Waves will start together 5 minutes after the bike has ended. Each participant can warm up until volunteers ask that all treadmills be stopped and cleared. Once the clock has been started, each participant will have 15 minutes to log as many miles as possible.

Scoring and Awards

Each participant will be given a scorecard at check-in that will go with them to each event where volunteers will write down completed distances. Once the event is complete, the scorecard will be turned in. Each participant will be ranked based on the furthest distance in each event (e.i. most swim laps is given 1 point, second given 2 points). Total points are added up and the participant with the lowest points is the winner.

While most will take part to challenge themselves and have a fun afternoon, merchandise prizes will be given to the Overall Male and Female as well as award pins to the top 3 Male and Females in each Age Group.
